Our Story

Our love and passion for farm fresh food has become our customers delight ever time.

Jackson’s pig and poultry started as a family passion for home-reared food for the table, knowing where our food came from was a huge part of wanting to do this.

Having eaten our own turkey for Christmas over the past number of years, we decided to start our business and now have turkeys for sale for this Christmas

All our pigs and bronze turkeys begin life under heat for a number of weeks, then we slowly acclimatize them to Irish weather before they become free range and live happily outside whilst having full access to shelter if they wish to be under cover.

All our animals live many months longer than commercially reared animals, we allow for natural growth rates meaning the taste is incredible. Try it for yourself…
